Strathpeffer

I walked to my mother in law's to get some steps and miles for my August challenge. She had some trousers that needed to be hemmed so I did that for her. 
In the afternoon my husband and I went for a drive and ended up in the Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer. We had a late lunch in a cafe on the old station platform. A walk took us past some beautiful gardens and Castle Leod, current home of the Mackenzie family.
Later on I filed and painted my mother in law's nails so that's all my jobs done for this visit! I usually do some work in the garden but my brother in law has had a bit more time to keep it tidy this year.
