The End of the Road.

The weather today was absolutely superb and I took close on 75 photos during our trip out.

Our final destination was Fort William, an old favourite, although it was very disheartening to see how the current financial situation seems to have hit the town with nearly 20 shops having closed down since our last visit.

The photo I chose for my blip may not have been the best technically, nor the most picturesque but it does bring back happy memories. It is the end of the West Highland Way, a long distance footpath running (?) between Fort William and Milngavie near Glasgow. The photo shows the new end of the footpath denoted by the resting walker and his new companion.
