Loch nan Uamh
We've had another beautiful day today and again I took lots of photos.
We were returning home in the late afternoon along the A830 Road to the Isles and stopped to photograph the Prince's Cairn. This is the point from where Bonnie Prince Charlie left Scotland for good after his defeat by the English following the 1645 Jacobite uprising.
This is Loch nan Uamh which the cairn overlooks. One of our party proclaimed that they had seen a seal but it's the first one I've seen wearing a snorkel. I've subsequently learned that this loch is a popular venue for divers.
