Birthday tea

A’s birthday today, her first birthday in the UK and her first birthday in quarantine!!
I made an afternoon tea for her - if we had been able to I’m sure she would have loved to go to Betty’s. That will happen soon I’m sure.
My laptop has been taken apart and all its important inside bits updated (one of the bonuses of quarantine-he had time to do it!). He also had time to stay on hold to the airline for over 2 hours and extend their stay by a few days, which is fantastic.
Most annoying is the government decided today that those vaccinated folk arriving on Monday won’t have to quarantine!!  
Met a friend who’s daughter was heading back to Italy today - she will have to quarantine when she arrives there.
