Censusship
Finn completed his section of the 2022 census with extreme care.
He is petrified at the idea of missing a section. He is only too aware of the Statistics Act of 1993.
The one that reads that "a person guilty of an offence under any provision of this Act shall be liable to : (a) on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding €1,000, or (b) on conviction on indictment, to a fine not exceeding €20,000."
Let's hope he doesn't miss anything. Or if he does that he successfully manages to avoid indictment.
This evening he was shown La Haine. It's a right of passage in the Raheny household. He wasn't keen on watching it. In the end he loved it, as I knew he would. The film has not lost much of its impact or relevance in 27 years.
