BBQ

Today we had a get together for our rugby boys; the off season is very long and we wanted to keep relationships going. This BBQ was just down the lane from us. A good time was had by all.

I sat for a while talking to the host’s mum. Until February of this year she had lived in a lovely thatched cottage on this site. She had lived there for 50 years or more. A house fire burned the house down, unfortunately, and all that remains is the chimney stack. Recent fires caused by the heatwave have brought it all back for her.
