Long day

We were up before 5am and left the house at 6am. We had a long hold up just before we got to Cambridge; a horse box had overturned on the carriageway just ahead. There were a lot of energy vehicles in attendance, and we filed by on the hard shoulder after over an hour of waiting. The road was closed for 4 hours. Not a good day for all those involved.

We got to my mum’s 7 hours and 20 mins after leaving the house . GravyC heroically did all the driving.

We are now over the river in Hartlepool. ZQ has been in touch - we miss him, especially Noo.
