Runswick Bay

We had planned to walk at Helmsley today but the weather brightened up so much whilst we drank an early morning coffee at Runswick that we stayed there and pottered along the beach again looking for sea glass .
We had a superb seafood platter at Sandsend then walked along that beach to Whitby Westcliff and back as the sea came in . It was glorious!
Lots of ‘v’ formations of geese flew over the car as we drove back to the farm . Once we were there a kestrel landed on one of the machines near the yard after giving us a display of its frenetic hovering !
