Better

A very quiet day, making beds up and wrapping some presents to take south next week, but mainly reading papers for the Board meeting tomorrow.
I made a slightly random supper and then collected A from work and we got the Christmas music on as we ate before diving into tree decorating. I couldn’t really face sorting out the string of a thousand lights but she got right in there, up and down the stepladder and into the midst of the branches.
We hung all the baubles but I think it now needs some other things….maybe some snowflakes or similar so I’ll get them this weekend.
I don’t know how she had the energy after a day at work, and I was flagging but she then pushed on and cleaned up all the mess so we could sit in comfort with a cup of tea and admire our (her!) handiwork before bed
