Willow pollard

We had an emergency call out to this tree from the council just before Xmas as the high winds caused it to lose a big limb. We advised that a tree this size and type in this condition could do with pollarding. So today was the day we did it. It's amazing how many people come for logs this time of year, even tho this is really rubbish wood for burning. Any wood is better than no wood !
