Birthday girl

I've some gorgeous photos from yesterday, exploring lots of Paris, but chose this one to blip as it marks Lone's 65th birthday (she's very sprightly-see March 2nd entry!)

Rained against most of the day, but didn't let it stop us getting out and about. Started with Place des Vosges, then up to the Galleries Lafayette, then lunch at very traditional old Parisian restaurant, then Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. Then back via metro to wander around Ile de la Cite, especially the hand made paper shops.
Sat and watched the world go by outside a cafe, then home to change before round to dinner at my cousin's to help her celebrate). The Berthillon ice cream dessert was fantastic!

Home very late-whacked out!
