Dead end...

I live in a place of breath taking beauty, abundant water, mountain ranges that go on forever...a tourist place often in the rankings for such titles as "Most Beautiful Small Town" and varied rankings for the ski resort. The flip side of that is alongside massive "summer" homes that lay empty for half of the year are places like this little shack. What happened? Did they just walk away one day never to return? Did their life just become a dead end? I too am drawn to the less than perfect visually and thank SarumStroller for starting the challenge for "derelict Thursday".
