Sunshine - but not on Leith
After an early morning breakfast meeting with my 3 Exec directors, we had a busy day of Budget presentations from each of the asset managers in our port at Tilbury.
We had time for a quick tour of one of the larger shed facilities in between - and thankfully the sun came out just in time. It really is a beautiful place to experience when the sun is shining, with lots of activity going on all around.
Lucky to catch this shot of a tug bringing in containers of waste being brought in to be processed and then exported out to the continent. It's definitely much different cargo these days compared to the decades gone by, but good to see a hubbub of action and activity, keeping lots of people in employment and the world economy going round.
Caught an amazing sunset on the flight back to Edinburgh tonight - but my phone was safely stowed in the overhead locker so did not manage to catch a Blip of it. I really should learn to have my camera with me at all times...
Still it was nice to be landing at the same time as I was meant to be leaving City airport - many thanks to the BA staff for re-opening the flight to let us sneak onto an earlier flight home. Meant that I was home earlier so that Chloe and I could watch Pretty Woman whilst having dinner
