Sunset over Battersea

I live in Pimlico, in London. Most evenings, when able, my sister and I walk along the banks of the River Thames, usually Eastward towards the Southbank. This particular evening, my sister couldn't come, and I decided to face westward. Battersea Powerstation is one of my favourite buildings in London, but I had grown frustrated at the building work that was going on in the surrounding area and, to me, ruining the view. However, this evening, even the construction work became beautiful - it was as if all the things that we build, and consider strong, seemed very fragile in the grand scheme of things. Far more transient that this sunset.
