Although I live a bit "off the beaten track", I do emerge (blinking) into the real world quite often.

In fact between work (now part time) and my personal life (recently expanded)  I had have a varied & vibrant existence until the pandemic. Most days.

I enjoyed taking photos when I was a youngster, and then virtually stopped when I got older. Big chunks of my life in France, New York, Lithuania and Thailand have gone almost unrecorded (except in my memory bank of course).

It was really just the coming of digital photography which brought me back into the fold. When I started Blipping I had my iPhone and a Nikon Coolpix.

Then in March '14 I splashed out on a Panasonic DMC-FZ62. Not a fancy item, but a lot of beer tokens in terms of my priorities in life.

I have another journal - see below. It was for a specific trip, and this one is open ended.
