I have been in and out of wet photography since elementary school. In 1999 I bought my first digital camera, a Kodak DC-290 Zoom which took excellent images and I never looked back at wet chemistry again. I also fell in love with Photoshop right away. As my digital shooting and Photoshop skills improved I started a small side imaging business. I needed a name and some of my pals called me Willis. I always thought that was a derivation of William and my wife's name Phyllis, but we're not sure about that. Anyway I called my little photo business "Images by Willis". Today, most people who know me call me Willis.
When I'm not playing with cameras my main career is focused in electronics. I use to design, build and maintain recording and post production studios both audio and video but that has changed. I now working for Christie Digital, repairing digital movie theater equipment. I'm a member of SMPTE, Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. I also love most anything that whistles, whirls, clicks or eats electricity. BTW: I can repair most of it too.
