Beauty is all around us.

The Maranta Plant.

The Feast Day of Saint John of God.
I am thankful for all the good things happening around the town here and in the garden, both back and front garden. The flat pack greenhouse is not in place yet. Someone visited to measure for a cat flap. I am not in favour of the cat flap but Paul is. The cats are not yet 2 years old. They are very energetic and I pray to God we do not loose them if they get an idea to climb a tree or go over the fence. There are uncertainties so worrying and they have plenty of space to run and explore and play indoors. An argument about a cat flap is to be avoided, so I have prayed for a miracle to get through an already stressful phase in Paul 's health. Spring bulbs planted in the garden, have not all gone mouldy due to the months of heavy incessant rain. I am trying to appreciate the dry weather but it needs to be remembered that it is so very cold partly because of the wind chill. It was 4c earlier and Google weather feed said it felt like 0c. My eyes were watering when I walked to Rishton High Street and bought 2 balls of acrylic wool costing together £2.60, in a good wine shade.
The shopping done, Paul has been doing puzzles, and seems well after the PET scan in Preston hospital yesterdayafternoon. I am not one to go and sit waiting, as some people are. He updates me afterwards. It took 25 minutes of lying still in the scan machine and he was given a radiated solution to see his insides..
I long for a time when we are happily the other side of this indescribable experience but it can be seen as a mercy the free NHS service is available to heal whatever they operate out of him when that occurs.
Thank you if you read all this, not to worry if you do not.
Stay well.
Keep safe.
