Cleaner

I decided today was the day to finally spring clean our little table.. It took a lot of elbow grease and grunt to get it even half decent.  I will have to tackle it again with something that will gently remove the lichen circles that have embeded themselves and wont budge. Then I will have to try sealing it I think.. no idea quite how to do that so will have to look it up somewhere..in the meantime it is a lot cleaner and more inviting.  It was a lovely morning but the cloud came in the afternoon and the temperature plummeted and now it is raining. 
I have undercoated all the porch.. my leg and back don't allow me to work for long without having a break so I am grateful for help from himself and he painted the ceiling today.. top coat tomorrow then that will be that.. unless it needs a second coat.. it might well do. 
If that was our summer.. it was lovely and much appreciated. Do hope we will have a few more open door days with coffee outside to come soon.
