Colourful Monday

After all the gloom we have had I just cannot go mono today!
My over stuffed tubs of tulips have opened up.. hurrah!  They would enjoy some sun but looked beautiful with the rain droplets on them I thought.  
In other colour news we have managed to get the whole first coat done in the porch.. annoyingly I think I hate the colour.. but I am going to continue with it for now just to get the house back in order.  We will get the second coat over it (done the main wall with two coats) before this evening so with luck we can get some of the bits back in this evening or at least tomorrow.  
My boat daughter wants to bring a lot of stuff home to store.. oh no!.. I said we will have to make space and she has decided not to come over this weekend after all.. next job to invent some storage space for her.. eek.. thank goodness I have been clearing out for two years!!
