Family splash

The strange weather continued today, blue skies, sunshine, mild. Somehow I managed to lift myself out of my post-holiday stupor and get out of the house, guilty that I'd been wasting so much of the nice weather since returning home.

Portane, along the coast north of Dublin, is where I went for a nice bracing walk along the beach. I wasn't the only one. Not by any means. This is crazy, really: a week into October and people are out playing in the sun and doing silly things in the sea. It's totally weird. This family group were certainly making the most of it.

Back home again afterwards it was back to the stupor again: telly, food, bed, reading. Perhaps I'll really get my act together tomorrow. Perhaps.
