Outspan Hotel Aberdares

This was our first stop on route to Samburu, we stayed here just the one night.

We had a lodger, after returning from our Evening Meal, I found a Gecko on the wall in our bedroom, to be honest I dont know what happened to him, the rooms were massive, we had a Family room, with 1 Kingsize bed, and a Single bed, with enough room for 2 Armchairs, a writing desk, and a large open fire although not lit.

The Hotel is where Lord and Lady Baden Powell lived out the last years of their lives, and they now have a Museum in the room that they shared.
