Elegant Baby Shower Luncheon

This afternoon was the baby shower for Elizabeth. Her second daughter is due in about 5 weeks. We kidded Liz that she didn't really want a baby shower, she wanted an elegant afternoon gathering of friends, and it was that!

Elizabeth and her husband, Nick, own a popular successful wedding photography business, so they see lots of gorgeous settings, sumptuous meals, and fancy desserts. Liz wanted something more than the usual, and her grandmother Sue, mom Shelly, and little sister Amanda were the winning team that executed the plan which produced a fairytale afternoon.

Each guest had a choice of three delicious salads, several beverages, and a dessert table with at least a dozen beautiful sweet treats. It could have been a Valentine Party! Now if she has the baby on February 14th, well . . . !

I enjoyed the afternoon immensely.
