Early Morning Moon Setting
Mr. Fun was awake early this morning and thrilled to watch the full moon about to go down into the ocean. Actually, it was setting just north of this little community so from our windows it was going to drop behind the north point of Estero Bay. If I had a better camera, I'm sure he would have gotten a better capture; I'm just glad my camera is still taking photos after falling on it the other night (read about my fall here).
I took very few photos today because the man from Forden's in San Luis Obispo came to see us today (someday I'll explain what that means, but not today). Then after he'd been here for at least an hour, we let the pups out of their crates and we took them for a walk to the beach, not on the beach but to the beach, because we had a 4 o'clock dinner date with our friends Al & June we did not have the time to go for a long walk on the sand.
Because the pups had already been in their crates today, we put them in the backseat of the car. We met Al & June at The Sea Shanty, one of the best little restaurants in Cayucos. We sat and chit-chatted for a long time before we even ordered dinner and then after eating a delicious filling meal, we stayed and talked for a lot longer. The restaurant does not face the ocean so we missed the sunset, but we had a great time with Al & June. Tomorrow we'll look for the sunset, but today Mr. Fun almost saw the moon set!
Good night from California' s Central Coast.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
P.S. The fuzzy lights are the cars on Highway #1 coming toward our little community of Cayucos. Mr. Fun loves that we can see the highway way off in the distance.
