Common Blue Butterfly

We took a walk up to the summit of Le Bras (1972m) and then down to the village of Huez today and saw what must have been thousands of butterflies. I have never seen so many in one place in my life. The insect and plant life was incredible, as was the scenery! Sooooooo difficult to choose a blip for this day. I tried a collage but it just distracted from the beauty of the individual images so I finally decided on this little Common Blue Butterfly, though there's nothing common about it in my opinion. I thought they were beautiful little insects.
