Dunlough Castle.....

.....or Three Castles Head as it's more commonly known here, is a series of three keeps, founded by Donagh O' Mahony in 1207. The location is quite stunning being situated on the cliff tops at the end of Mizen Peninsula, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was quite late in the day when we arrived, the sun was sinking but it just added to the drama of this site! It was almost dark by the time we walked back to the car.
We ended the day with an absolutely delicious supper with friends Jamie and Miranda, they had prepared four dishes from the cookery book 'Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi' an absolute feast for the taste buds.
