Fire escape

Back into Manchester, this morning, for a work meeting in the Northern Quarter, after which I met Hannah for lunch and a mooch around Fred Aldous. 

Heading back through the back streets to Piccadilly, afterwards, I was struck once again by how the fire escapes - the likes of which I don't recall seeing anywhere else in the UK - remind me of New York. In fact, I think Dom told me they filmed part of 'Captain America' here.
