Introducing Olivia Jamilah

This little person entered our world today at 9.11pm weighing 6lbs 2oz.
The delivery was fairly 'easy' and swift and I was so overwhelmed that I didn't even ask what sex it was as I had convinced myself that I was carrying a boy! When you were born you were still in your 'sack' which the midwife peeled back and you then opened your eyes and had a little look around without making a noise (you've certainly made up for it since!). She said that it was very rare and a sign of luck.

I couldn't take my eyes off you and was shocked by the overwhelming sense of love and pride that I felt.
