You've been framed

I took the shot being framed here on 27th February and had it printed out at 45" x 30' at Photobox on one of their special offers. Great value but then I needed it framed. I thought a shot of the finished framing was a little dull so I decided to merge it with a shot of the craftsman and woman working on the frame.

Many thanks to Al for his skill and expertise in creating a frame for this huge picture. Framing looks an interesting and creative craft to learn, but as usual you need all the tools and above all the space to do the work, especially on something this size. Something for the future maybe?

The picture is now hanging above the stairs and replaces a picture taken in 1991 of a superb view of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta of the Pocaterra Ridge.
