Making themselves heard

Honestly I've taken more bad wren pictures this spring than I have for some time!  However, I liked this one and wrens are still the noisiest birds around here, bar the thrushes.  In an effort to make themselves heard, they can be louder even than the Cettis, with whom I have seen them squabble.  This blip was taken in the reserve.  The sun was beautiful this morning, but it was pretty chilly and much too windy for comfort.  I was quite glad to get back for breakfast!

The rest of the day has been much like any other so far, but I've decided to get on with commenting earlier than usual.  Even the dogs are out so the place is at peace.
