Bergensbanen

The main entertainment today was the seven hour train journey from Oslo to Bergen.  This starts at sea level and ends at sea level but over the course of the journey the train crosses the Hardangervidda - the highest station is at Finse which is 1222 metre above sea level (4000 feet in old money).

The rivers and waterfalls were all very full of meltwater - albeit difficult to photograph from a moving train - there's a couple of snowy extras too.
