Day 2 of StadtFest (City Festival) in Magdeburg. An exellent opportunity to photograph people in the street.


Oksana is from Ukraine. She migrated to Germany 10 years ago and currently lives in Berlin. A trained artist, she is making drawings for around 20 years. Additionally she is involved in theatre performances as assistant director. She has come to Magdeburg to earn some money by drawing portraits / caricatures of people during the festival. She charges 20 Euros for one portrait and spends nearly 30 minutes to finish a portrait.

Later in the evening, I met Crusaeu and had a walk with him. Crusaeu and his friend went on to climb over bridge and tried to to reach the top. But within 2 minutes they were caught by Police and were handed in challan forms.
