Invading my territory

Before heading off to Sossusvlei we spent the morning on a trek with a guide to the source of a spring. Water is incredibly scarce in Namibia. They have had no rain for 2 years and it was really surprising to see water gushing out of the ground in the Zebra river canyon.

There was a family of baboons enjoying the water and they were a bit put out when we barged into their territory. They scampered with amazing agility up this vertical cliff face and then shouted at us until we left.
