First win of the season

Today Newport were seeking their first win of the season, and after 3 straight loses it was very important to get that win. Todays opponents were Swansea, a strong West Wales outfit. The scoring started quickly, and after 15 mins 18 points were scored with Swansea out in front 8-10. Each time Newport pulled away, Swansea struck back. This continued into the 2nd half when eventually Newport started to push harder, and then they stared to show their strength. It was awesome to see Newport start to play some great rugby, we have missed that here for some time. The final score was Newport 52 Swansea 28, our first win of the season.
