U-Bahnhof Hasenbergl
Hasenbergl underground station
After coming home at 2 o'clock in the morning from the very last day of the very last of the season, going to work today morning wasn't much fun.
What really made my day, though, happened on the hunt for today's blip. As I was just about to enter the underground station at Josephsplatz, a construction worker across the street accidentally ripped the main water pipe while digging with his excavator. There was a 12 metres high water fountain immidiately and a small crowed of onlookers gathered. Approximately 1,000 photographes were taken of the unlucky worker and his unfortunate incident.
"To feel envy is human, to savor schadenfreude is devilish." (Arthur Schopenhauser) Well, so be it.
The blip shows Hasenbergl underground station. The station serves the Hasenbergl (literally translated: Bunny Hill) neighbourhood, a former problem area, that still has kind of a bad reputation. But what is considered a "problem area" in Munich, would be the pride of most other German cities...
Here is the last underground station I blipped.
