Baker, baker

When we came down stairs this morning we found Skipper lying down in the rainbow rice in the play tray after making "rice angels." Chickpea said, "Skipper got out the rainbow rice!" They all had a great time playing in it before breakfast.

This afternoon we did some baking and here Chickpea is doing the best baking job of all. She is enjoying baking/ cooking more now and is getting a lot better at it. She cracked eggs by herself today and was pretty excited and proud of herself.

Also, Chickpea has been doing so much art lately- about 20 sheets of paper a day. She loves drawing, usually one side of paper will be her and the other side daddy. She has added eyelashes today for the first time I think. Love the little details.

Chickpea quote of the day-- *I was trying to encourage her to eat some chicken but it had spinach stuck to it.* "That's not chicken! It's green! It's dark green!"

Monkey is getting so good with speaking. He can say the alphabet now and can count to 10 at least.
