Christmas Party!

Skipper tested Chickpea's willpower this morning. When she found him he was holding a wrapped gift with a note that said, "please wait until after you get home from the party to open." Her face fell when she realized the implications and I felt bad for a moment but she soon got into the spirit and we were going to a Christmas party after all!

We had a lovely time at the party (Booby Group Christmas party), dancing balloon kicking, presents, eating wonderful food and drinking fabulous mulled wine. Also, the Mr. got pulled into a game in which the children smeared Vaseline on his face and stuck cotton wool to it to make him all beardy (along with another dad, may the best beard win type of thing though the Mr's beard was not the best one I don't think). It was hilarious.

We came home and Chickpea finally got to open her gift which was scratch art snowflakes. Both kiddo's had fun drawing on their snowflakes and decorating the tree with them. We also had SDB and the gang over for dinner tonight and it was wonderful catching up!
