Made in Muscat!

Travelled up today to Muscat and had the longest wait ever on the border!!

It is a public holiday but we didn't vouch for the rest of the world to have the same idea as we did and head for Muscat at 10am!!! We felt very sorry for the people who had to wait as equally long as we did just to get an enrance and exit stamp on the famous 'visa run!'

It was all worth it in the end and we arrived, hot, crabby, tired safely to spend time with Hilde on her rooftop terrace sipping something!!!!

Before that though we needed ....

.....a wee nap..........to refresh us
.....a wee shower.....to rejuvenate us
.....a wee drop.........to reach where the previous two didn't!!!

We were then ready to set off for the Jungle (a great restaurant at the bottom of the hill posing as a rain forest!) and then on the grand night tour for the famous blip foto!!!
