Pantheon

backblipping exactly six months after the event but I'm determined to blip the important things!

This is the dome inside the Pantheon, our accommodation was just a stones throw away and this is by far my favourite area to just hang out! we tried going in the pantheon at various times in the day over this holiday and it just occurred to me on this morning that as it is so close to mid winter the light through the hole will obviously be at this angle! I have only ever seen the sunbeam on the floor once and that was in May so when I tick the summer months off my Rome list I will get to see it on the floor again!

Today we did some last minute shopping and went to say goodbye to aunty flora who helped get us a table in a lovely pizza restaurant before we sadly headed for the airport.
