Vulcan

An early start today as we went to the airshow at RAF Cosford, we picked up dad. The Cheshire countryside was stunning as always and we made good time until a couple of miles away when we hit the queues. It wasn't too bad and we were only stuck for about half an hour, I heard later that many people were unable to get in as it was full by late morning.

Far too much to see in one day but what we did see was amazing.
The show was fantastic, dad's first ever air show and he was amazed by the flying techniques being demonstrated.

Although we took lunch with us it was still expensive to get a drink, I objected to paying £1.80 for a small water

Took so many photo's it was hard to choose, but I really liked this one of the Vulcan flying past, the only one flying today

Took an hour and a half to get out of the grounds as it was just plain crazy, eight lanes of traffic trying to get into one lane. Home late, dad had a fantastic day which was good to see. He'll be aching tomorrow
