Watching
Not a lot of sleep had last night due to the rain and wind battering the tent, it's been like this since we arrived yesterday at Shell Island. A few tents were flattened overnight and a couple who were pitched just along from us were sat in the middle of their wrecked tent, they were going to get another one from Porthmadog. After a crackin fry up we went up to the Nantcol waterfall in Llanbedr and walked alongside the resevoir. There was hardly any wind which was a real respite, the woodland was so green with lots of mosses growing over the stones
After a good walk it was back to the island for a couple of pints at the pub then down to the tent. Still blowing a hoolie and no chance of a fire at least the tent was still standing. Nothing for it but to batton down the hatches and settle down with the paper and another drink. Happy days
