Bird up a tree
The reason my alter-ego RedCoatedBirder came along was to, one, provide the challenge of blipping a different bird species each day and, two, to free up this journal to provide more interesting photographs.
Today we went for a wander in Cassiobury Park, Watford, took lots of photos, Mistle Thrush (that's the bird up the tree), Coal Tit, Mrs L (banned from blipping), Jay, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Magpie, Starling, Nuthatch & Carrion Crow. Which made for a good day, but didn't really produce a good photograph. So the best I can offer you is a more interesting crop than Mr RCB used and the promise that I'll try not to forget in future to look out for the good photograph as well as the birds
It has a bit more merit in Large.
