My passion for photography started later in life and happened by mostly mistake. I was shooting some of my flowers that spring as I had done on and off for years. One shot of a single daffodil changed everything. I was looking at the shot and it hit me the way the light shone thru the petals and brought it to life enthralled me. It was not until I showed my oldest daughter some of my shots and she said those words that would change everything.

I will never forget her words to me on that summer day sitting in the grass and soaking up some sun.'Mom, your pictures are really good. Have you thought of doing it for money"I was taken back and she encouraged me further to proceed with what she seen in her mother.

She opened my eyes to a gift I have had my entire life and only her words allowed me to see that gift. I have only made a small amount of money off of this gift( and I mean less than 50 bucks). I have found sharing my shots and seeing the joy it brings others is the best profit I can ever receive.

I am a lover of the woods and nature, so it makes sense this is where I spend my free time. Taking shots of the woods and how I see it is my passion and that passion defines who I am.
