I've participated sporadically on this platform for about a decade, and missed the  civility, beauty, and world view shared here. Merely attempting to create, see, and be mindful (yeah, that buzzword) on a daily basis, and keep a chronicle for all of the reasons one does. In defiance of my formal art education, I still appreciate a photo of a pretty flower, a cute kid or pet, or a lovely landscape. It's acceptable to like beauty sans elevated intention. I appreciate all creators, amateurs and professionals. My current manifesto is to own and share my failures and triumphs and to never denigrate anyone's creative efforts.
