As a young boy my first 'Brownie' camera took black and white square pictures.

Some time later, ... inspired by travel and work in the arts I became a TV Producer and also founded two charities.

Now, a keen walker, I prefer the magic of light in nature rather than controlled light of studio. I particularly enjoy landscapes which retain some degree of realism, not overly processed.

Having travelled to remote places, but I still have a deep connection with the English countryside and a special passion for Kent.

Having used bridge cameras and relied on their auto settings, I've been more concerned with framing and composition. Now, with my new Canon 600D I intend to develop my technical knowledge and experiment with still image.
