I live in West Cumbria in the north of England just on the edge of the Lake District. Hence I am never short of beautiful landscapes or seascape opportunities. I also like to photograph local events such as amateur dramatics, fairs, agricultural shows and sports, mainly rugby league.
 
Took up photography as a hobby when I retired in 2006. I like all forms of photography which I think shows in the variety of my images.
 
During the covid19 lockdown in 2020 I seem to have developed an interest in more creative photography, with varying degrees of success, but it is fun and I have enjoyed experimenting with different ideas.
 
I would describe myself as a keen amateur and still learning. I am also a member of the Workington and District Camera Club based here in West Cumbria.
