A host of golden ......
A day early but these daffodils caught my eye, and look .... there's an abandoned house in the background as well! This was taken in the neighbouring village of Kilcrohane which once had a blooming (!!) co-operative that was famous for producing the earliest daffs in the British Isles. For some reason, the co-operative folded some years ago and now the fields of daffodils are just left unattended and unloved but much admired by this passing blipper. I wanted to gather up armfuls but nobody misses a thing down there! The house is interesting too - apparently one of the oldest in the village but now in need of a lot of love and attention. I have had a snoop but was unable to get in!
Back at work this morning - all cherubs in good form and spirits were high in the sunshine.
We have had our proofs back for the cards - 80% satisfaction - some are a bit grainy and some have lost their light and tone, and there are faint but annoying lines in some, so we shall ask for a few alterations to be done.
True Grit - excellent performances and a lot of dark humour - could have been a bit weirder in true Coen Brothers style.
