Off or On?

Soy sauce doesn't go off, does it?

I mean, the "best before date" doesn't really count, when it's a bottle of soy sauce.

This was right at the back of the cupboard. I found it while I was having one last, optimistic rummage, having finished the "old" bottle the other day, and forgetting to buy more.

What would be the limit, do you reckon... turn of the century, or thereabouts?

or.. if I don't add it to the stir-fry, I could put it back in the cupboard until Antiques Roadshow calls by..
