Spring has Sprung!

And the kids are out to play! We had a wee visit this afternoon from Marianne and Angus. The kids had the best time ever* playing in the garden: chasing the dog; digging for worms; scootering; hiding in the playhouse looking for spiders and generally getting mucky and exhausted in the way only three and four year olds can.

I've had a very pleasant, relaxing day after our busy weekend. Took H to the Dr this morning - tonsillitis has been confirmed - and then Hannah, Callum and I took in the delights of Costco. The house is now looking less like Old Mother Hubbard's, which is a bit of relief (cooking was becoming like an episode of Ready, Steady, Cook - five random ingredients thrown together or, worse still, dubious leftovers...)

*the best time ever is liable to change on an hour-by-hour basis with three and four year olds. In fairness to them, they did get to wear wellies and chase the dog so it was definitely a very, very good day.
