Wreck
Part of a wreck on the eastern end of Carbis Bay beach, only visible like this at very low tides, and with much more of it showing than normal as the recent swells have shifted the sand levels, normally only the top couple of feet is visible.
This is either from the Vulture or the Bessi, which were both wrecked here during a severe gale in November 1893, which, along with the Cintra near the centre of the beach, all went aground within a half hour period.
For anyone interested , I have just found more details of them here , here, and here.
