Belting Up

Finally...

...the building is starting to resemble the computer simulation my husband did several years ago (see illustration on 'About This Journal' page).

Dean and James the plasterers have been working on the belt which encircles the Upper Ground Floor extending the balcony beam out and around to the north facade.

It was always my design idea that the Upper Ground Floor should project out from the slope supported visually on a 'slab'. The bedrooms then are tucked like caves beneath.
